With 100 million records sold and two albums receiving RIAA diamond certification (Pyromania and Hysteria), the loss of Steve Clark, and dealing with Rick Allen’s near – death experience that made him lose his left arm, it is no surprise that Def Leppard is still rockin’ to this day and don’t seem to show signs of stopping any time soon.
Earlier this year, Def Leppard announced that they are heading back to Vegas for their new residency Def Leppard Hits Vegas. However, this isn’t their first time rocking Sin City. Back in 2013, they brought the Hysteria to Vegas for the very first time with their residency Viva! Hysteria, where they played their 1987 album Hysteria in its entirety. So, you’re probably wondering, what can we expect this time around from Def Leppard’s upcoming residency? Check out the video below to find out.
The band will be playing shows on August 14th through the 31st as well as play some shows on September 1st up until September 7th. Tickets can be found on TicketMaster, through the Def Leppard Rock Brigade, or through the box office at Planet Hollywood. Prices begin at $69 (plus tax and fees) and each show starts at 8 p.m. For the last bit of this post, I want to extend my (delayed yet much deserved) congratulations to Def Leppard on their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction– so congratulations to Joe, Phil, Rick ‘Sav’, Vivian, and Rick Allen on your induction, as it is something that I personally feel should’ve been done sooner rather than later, but am glad it has happened for you all and I am confident that I’m not the only one who believes so. You can check out Joe’s induction speech below:
