On November 10, The Cleveland Browns (3-6) hosted their 9th game of the season and defeated the Buffalo Bills (6-3) buy a close score of 19-16.
The Browns kick off the game with a touchdown in the first quarter off a Baker Mayfield pass to wide receiver Jarvis Landry. Unfortunately the Browns were not able to make a kick and score the extra point.
The fans at First Energy Stadium got excited with the early lead, however that excitement faded with bad play calling by the coaching staff. On several occasions the Browns went for it on fourth down and now statistically they are the first team in over 20 years to have seven tries at the one yard line and not score any points.
In the forth quarter lots of fans left as they were sure Buffalo got a touchdown to make the game 22-12 and the game was for sure over. However a flag was called taking away the touchdown, and forcing Buffalo to settle for just a field goal. When Baker Mayfield made a touchdown pass to Rashard Higgins, the Browns were able to get the victory.
The Browns will host again this upcoming Thursday November 15 against their biggest rival the Pittsburgh Steelers. Can they use the momentum from this week and start a winning streak.
